We have been patients of Dr. Chan and Blossom Pediatrics since our daughter was just three months old, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the care she has received. Now, as she is approaching three years old, we reflect on how grateful we are for the exceptional service and attention she has gotten throughout these important years.

Dr. Chan is incredibly responsive to any concerns we have had, always making us feel heard and valued. She takes the time to explain things thoroughly and in a way that’s easy to understand, which has been especially reassuring for us as first-time parents.

Her approach is warm and caring—our daughter has always been comfortable during her visits, which speaks volumes about Dr. Chan’s ability to connect with children. It's clear that Dr. Chan not only understands the medical side of things but also the importance of building trust with her young patients.

Dr. Chan’s attention to detail is something we truly appreciate. Whether it’s monitoring our daughter’s development or addressing minor health concerns, she’s always thorough and meticulous in her evaluations. We’ve never felt rushed during appointments, and that’s something we value deeply as parents.

We love Dr. Chan! Our daughter was born in July 2024, and we found Dr. Chan online beforehand. We were interested in the fourth trimester package, and had a zoom call with her to discuss our family and make sure it was a good fit. We moved forward and let me tell you—it was easily the best decision I made for my future postpartum self. First baby, and I was pretty nervous, but I couldn’t have expected how shell shocked I would be once she was actually born. Dr. Chan’s involvement made my postpartum experience leaps and bounds better. The day after we came home from the hospital, she visited our house and stayed for 2 hours, answering every question we had, holding the baby, setting up my pump, etc. Dr. Chan is so invested in her patients and so knowledgeable. I love being able to message her in the app, and always getting a quick response. I can’t imagine my anxiety if I hadn’t been able to get quick answers from my baby’s doctor! She was also immensely helpful on our breastfeeding journey. If you’re considering Blossom, absolutely you should choose it. I can’t imagine having another pediatrician!

Dr. Chan is a one-in-a-million physician, and I can’t recommend her enough. She is one of the only pediatricians I know of in the state of TX that is IBCLC certified. She is the only doctor I’m aware of in Houston, and one of the few in the country that offers fourth trimester services. If you are able to get in with Dr. Chan’s practice whether it be for fourth trimester support or pediatric services, do not hesitate.

Dr. Chan was absolutely crucial during my postpartum period and helped me navigate a number of breastfeeding challenges including a tricky infection that she caught and diagnosed. Something that could have very easily derailed my breastfeeding journey, Dr Chan helped nonstop along the way to help in my healing. She also was a huge help in improving my child’s latch and assisting in her feeding and nutrition. She is extremely knowledgeable and was very patient with our… many… first-time parent questions.

Her bedside manner is also absolutely unmatched. Dr Chan made a few house visits during the fourth trimester services. She was patient, kind, gentle with the baby, and so knowledgeable. We learned so much during these visits and felt so much more confident about our nursing and feeding.

I truly can’t say enough about Dr Chan and Blossom pediatrics. If you are lucky enough to work with Dr Chan, I highly recommend you to do so. She’s an amazing physician.

Dr. Chan has been very helpful in our transition as new parents! Everything happened fast for myself and my husband as we were told the news that we had been placed with a birth mother and would be taking home our precious newborn in less than 10 days notice! I quickly found some recommendations from my friends, and when I spoke with Dr. Chan, she put me at ease that she could help us and support us through the adoption process. We really enjoy the hour long appointments and regular access through messaging and have worked with her for almost a year now. There have been many times where she was able to identify an issue and write a prescription within an hour or 2 of us asking questions. This is literally UNHEARD of in today’s healthcare where you would have to call your doctor’s office, wait on hold, get seen in days or weeks from now, then get your questions answered. She was even able to support us with our many breast milk questions since it was important to us to find breast milk for our baby. Having a doctor that can answer all your questions, support all your decisions without judgment, and constantly point you in the right direction within the same day has been super valuable. We definitely recommend Dr. Chan and the service!

Dr. Chan-Ramirez is the absolute best! I cannot say enough positive things. I was struggling with how to help my newborn, who was clearly in pain, and my first pediatrician simply wrote me off as an anxious mom and was ignoring my newborn’s needs. Finding Dr. Chan-Ramirez changed everything for us and put my baby on a path of healing and happiness. There is no one out there who will do a better job listening, truly caring, and ultimately not stopping until your child’s needs are met. I would never go to anyone else ever again! The deep care she has for her patients is undeniable. Dr. Chan-Ramirez is also a fantastic resource for connections. Dr. Chan Ramirez has been wonderful throughout our baby’s ordeal with tongue tie and feeding issues in general. She is quick to respond, thorough in her assessment and honest. I appreciate that she takes the time to listen and only suggests the procedure if it’s necessary. We came back for a follow up appointment for her to re-evaluate our baby’s feeding, and I can’t recommend Dr. Chan Ramirez enough! She’ll make a stressful situation 100x better and manageable

We worked with Dr. Chan after each of our children were born and had an unbeatable experience on both occasions. She is truly a caring medical provider, and treats mom and baby as a unit. She leverages her past experience to provide reassurance, but listens to concerns with an open mind in order to tailor care for each baby.

I was saddened when we moved out of state, thinking we would no longer be able to see Dr. Chan. We sought concierge medicine for during the 4th trimester and weren’t able to find a doctor in our area. I reached out to Dr. Chan, who was able to support us virtually with lactation and 4th trimester coaching. We had a fabulous second experience and nothing was lost despite our visits being virtual in nature. She was essential to troubleshooting breastfeeding challenges and navigating food sensitivities, and helped us coordinate our thoughts to bring to our in-state pediatrician.
